About This Place

Nestled in the heart of Westbury, NY, Nana's Ice Cream and Coffee House is a captivating café that brilliantly fuses the warmth of a cozy espresso bar with the excitement of a vibrant bubble tea and dessert shop. More than just your average sweet spot, Nana's creates an inviting atmosphere infused with charming New Orleans-inspired décor and an eclectic playlist that sets the perfect mood for indulgence and relaxation alike.

Stepping inside, you are immediately drawn to their diverse menu, where decadent desserts and savory bites coexist in perfect harmony. Whether you’re craving the rich, creamy allure of their Ferrero Rocher Sundae or the playful comfort in their signature Face Full of PeaNuts Sundae, every dish invites you into layers of flavor and texture. Imagine biting into their churro waffle—crisp, golden, and dusted with just enough cinnamon sugar—accompanied by a perfectly brewed cup of hot drip coffee or a smooth espresso. For those who love adventurous treats, the I Like Turtles Sundae delivers a sophisticated blend of salted caramel truffle ice cream with crunchy pecan bits and chocolate drizzle, providing a delightful contrast of sweet and salty that lingers on the palate.

But Nana’s doesn’t stop at sweets. Their savory offerings, like the hearty Philly Cheesesteak, crispy Fish and Chips, and satisfyingly indulgent Gooey Cheesy Fries Loaded with Bacon and Fixin’s, perfectly complement the café’s diverse beverage lineup. From a refreshing Heart Bubble Tea to the irreplaceable charm of an Affogato with Vanilla Ice Cream, each drink is crafted thoughtfully to elevate your tasting experience.

The beauty of Nana's lies not only in the flavors but also in its welcoming ambiance and attentive service. Longtime customers like Najeeb Abdullah praise the friendly staff and richly decorated interior, making every visit feel special. Lou Medina calls it a “hidden gem,” appreciating the fresh-baked goods and energizing cold brew coffee that awakens both the senses and spirit. And for those who appreciate a personal touch, the owner’s recommendations, as noted by Jiovani Rivera, turn a simple coffee run into a memorable gathering spot for friends and colleagues.

Despite its intimate size, Nana’s manages to charm with a spacious and cozy environment perfect for working, socializing, or simply savoring a quiet moment with a decadent dessert and expertly made coffee. The genuine care in every dish and drink, paired with an inviting vibe, makes this family-owned café not just a go-to destination for locals but a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic flavors and heartfelt hospitality.

Whether you’re stopping by for a midday coffee break, an afternoon treat, or a casual meal with friends, Nana's Ice Cream and Coffee House promises an experience rich in character, taste, and genuine warmth, leaving you eager for your next visit.

I was in the area and noticed this nice dessert spot. It is really nicely decorated inside. Lots of New Orleans decor and pleasant music. They also have a very wide selection of desserts and even food. I had the Ferrero Rocher sundae and it was super delicious!! Can't wait to come by this place again and try the other delicious menu items.

I came here to get some coffee and dessert and it was a pleasant experience. Only one person was working but she took care of the order and was exceptionally nice. Their affogato was well made as was the iced coffee we got. It is small, and can get busy but it isn't bad if you want to support a small business that has some great coffee.

Second time here; this time I went with my team to have our work meeting and grab some coffee; we ended up grabbing some food and ice cream while we were there. Very delicious and spacious to relax and enjoy your food and beverages. Customer service was really nice; the owner was the order taker and was very nice in recommendations which is phenomenal. I recommend to check place out; the design inside was pretty cool.

The service when I was there was top notch.. and it was late. The tea/coffee/cocktail selection was great... with many NOLA inspired offerings. The family recipe Gumbo was fantastic. I didn't try any other food options, but i overheard that it was great. The setup is cozy and eclectic. It's just a small family owned spot with a decent variety of drinks, snacks, desserts and food. Pricing is really good. A full meal of very high quality gumbo was 12 bucks.....

GREAT FOR ICE CREAM SOCIALS! We brought our son for a treat. He had chocolate and his dad got a vanilla ice cream. The ice creams were delicious. I got a mango smoothie with oat milk base. It was not so good. The mango flavor was not so strong. The smoothie was not well blended. The place was crowded and seems to be a popular spot in the neighborhood. There were many kids enjoying ice creams.
